Why did we start APRC?

Founded at Sciences Po Le Havre, the Asia-Pacific campus of Sciences Po Paris, APRC was created to build a space for structured student research on the region. With access to top-tier academic guidance and a diverse international student network, we aim to foster rigorous work and enable meaningful inter-institutional collaboration.

Where do we publish?

APRC publishes research on our website thorugh journals (beginning with the 2026 inaugural APRC Journal) and seperate collaborative projects. Looking ahead, we aim to expand into problem-driven, niche publications developed with partner universities and civil society, producing work that is rigorous, original, and impactful.

How do we differ from other student-led think tanks?

Our work is guided by a Scientific Advisory Committee of expert researchers, supported by active faculty review, and strengthened through dedicated research workshops. We also prioritise meaningful collaborations with universities and external NGO partners. We emphasise a clear research process, mentorship, and high standards at every stage.

Who is APRC for?

APRC is for students who are genuinely interested in research and willing to engage with it seriously. We look for curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to work through structured feedback, rather than prior experience alone.
